Catching
Our 5 Tool Specialty is Catching and it begins with having a strong arm to throw and how to make transitions quickly while making sure throw downs are accurate. Every lesson will include a variety of blocking, receiving, and thrown downs. There are two distinct styles for catching: One leg down vs traditional. We can teach both and will help you create your own hybrid style. Ryan Hanigan is our Director of Catching and he priorities: Set up, Sequence, PItch Calling, In Game Leadership and Scenarios. He is wiling to work with younger catchers but prefer a proficient level before engaging in a long term player development program.
