-

No matter the discipline, all lessons are tailored to the individual athlete based on their areas for growth.

How long are lessons?

Lessons range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the type of lesson.

What do I need to bring for a lesson?

For a lesson, you’ll need your equipment such as catching gear, a glove, or a bat. Also be sure to bring a drink to keep you hydrated – you’ll be working hard!

How do I sign up for a lesson?

To book one session: click on the ‘Services’ tab.

To book multiple sessions: email natalie@5tool.com or call (781) 686-1660.

Do you provide player assessments?

Yes!

-

For the initial, hour-long evaluation conducted by our instructors or a comprehensive check in assessment after utilizing our coaching staff, the cost is $250. With this, you’d receive full metrics and analysis of where your player is at in both skill and fitness.

-

We also offer a shorter 30 minute strength and conditioning performance evaluation (minus sprinting) for current 5 Tool athletes, costing $76. Here, the athlete would receive the findings of the evaluation, but not the in-depth analysis of strengths and weaknesses like the typical assessments.

For a semi-private lesson: do I need to find my own partner or am I matched with someone?

To maintain a strong chemistry between the players and coach during the lesson, we kindly ask that you find your own partner.

Do I need to book ahead or can I just show up?

You must book ahead.

What are your late and cancellation policies?

If you are late for a lesson, you will begin your lesson with however much time is left in the session when you arrive. For instance, if you arrive 30 minutes late for a 1 hour lesson, you will only have 30 minutes for your lesson.

-

If you have to cancel your lesson, you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours of your lesson, there is a $50 reinstatement fee for the opportunity cost lost.

Do you offer any trial sessions?

We do not offer any trial sessions, but you may book an initial evaluation or a singular lesson before you buy a package.

Can I rent a batting cage with a pitching machine?

Yes!

-

We have 3 hack attacks and 1 high speed Jugs machine which are effective for BP. We rent out to individuals as well as teams. For more information, contact natalie@5tool.com or call (781) 686-1660.

Does 5 Tool have a club team?

-

At 5 Tool, we have an interest in our individual players’ success, and believe we can best support an athlete’s baseball journey if we’re focusing solely on them, not a whole team.
