JR DiSarcina is a former professional player and collegiate coach who blends high-level playing experience with a background in psychology to help athletes reach their full potential. A UMass Dartmouth graduate and .308 career hitter, he went on to play five seasons of independent professional baseball, earning an Atlantic League Rookie of the Year nomination in 2021 and a Frontier League All-Star selection in 2023. He has also coached at Emerson College as the team’s hitting and infield coach, bringing a player-first approach grounded in fundamentals, adaptability, and a strong competitive mindset.

Coaching Philosophy

JR’s philosophy centers on quality repetition, attention to detail, and purposeful training. He helps athletes understand how their bodies move and adapt, making small but meaningful adjustments that drive consistent performance. His goal is to create an environment where every rep has intent—building habits that translate directly to success in game situations while strengthening both the physical and mental sides of the game.
