Coaching Philosophy

Jake’s philosophy centers on teaching players to be process-oriented in a game defined by challenges and failure. He emphasizes purposeful practice, creating game-like situations in training, and learning how to manage the struggles that baseball inevitably presents. His hitting approach is built on rhythm, timing, and putting players in strong positions to see quality pitches, with the belief that a sound swing will naturally follow. He is committed to helping players build resilience and confidence that translate both on and off the field.
